Tofu Stir Fry with Vegetables Recipe

This Tofu Stir Fry with Vegetables is a quick and flavorful meal that takes only 30 minutes to prepare. It's packed with protein from the tofu and colorful veggies for a filling and delicious dinner.

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 15 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

  • To coat the tofu, cut it into small cubes and toss it with 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
  • Cook until the tofu cubes are crispy and golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  • Place on a plate.
  • In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  • Combine the sliced red and green bell peppers, onion, and broccoli florets in a mixing bowl.
  • Cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Cook for another minute after adding the minced garlic and grated ginger.
  • Whisk together the soy sauce, vegetable broth, hoisin sauce, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and water in a small bowl.
  • Stir in the sauce until the vegetables are coated and the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Toss the tofu in the skillet with the sauce and vegetables to coat.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
